In Focus

This tune is different from my usual stuff.

1. It's an instrumental. I was doing a cable TV program and needed theme music. I couldn't find any royalty free music that I liked, so I made up my own.

2. It was written on guitar and piano. I had a chord progression that I was playing around with, and came up with the melody on piano.

3. It might seem a bit repetitive, but it was written that way so it could be faded out at any point.

4. Most importantly, it features Emmy Award winning composer Richard Reiter on keyboards. Richie waned to do tis in a 7/8 time signature, but it got overly complicated. He improvised the excellent bass part.
